I think they do…it’s called Wife Swap. And, it’s horrendous and fabulous. Now those are some “real” housewives.

I also love reality TV and have had some fun blogging about it. Didn’t hear about the Beverly Hills one! I still think they should do a REAL housewives show – like The Real Housewives of Compton, or The Real Housewives of El Paso.

I semi-watch these reality shows too. I tape them, but rarely get to watch them before they’re erased. So I only know bits and pieces about most. I have yet to see a full Bachelor Pad. Can’t believe they’re actually doing this show. Makes their “real” Bachelor/ette show seem cheapened. Does that make sense?

I do religiously watch Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, though. I like seeing kids with talent. But…I do think I’ve seen every Kardashian and Rachel Zoe episode at least 3 times each.

I started Jen L’s “My Pretty Fat” and put it down after a few chapters. There was something I didn’t like about it but I think it was also the last in a long line of brainless summer books so she may not have stood a chance.

Glad I’m not the only one with an outrageous TiVo!

Proud (really?) to say that my Tivo list is much the same (also to include favorites such as “Flipping Out” and Rachel Zoe). However, I found myself being ridiculed away by my husband from Kim Kardashian’s latest “The Spin Project”. I must admit, it was a bit over the top as reality shows go.

All this leads me to, have you read Jen Lancaster’s “My Fair Lazy: One Reality Television Addict’s Attempt to Discover If Not Being a Dumb Ass Is the New Black, Or a Culture-Up Manifesto” ? I love her writing and I think you may too.

I am so glad you are killing your brain cells too. Every week we say we are an hour dumber after that show. I worked with one of the girls in DC so I can’t quit watching!
